Spring Rolls... Recipe by Wenjie (Facebook Fan)

SPRING ROLL (LUMPIANG SHANGHAI)



(FILIPINO STYLE)



Ingredients:



1 lb ground pork

1 beaten egg

1/2 cup chopped onion

1/2 cup chopped carrots

5 cloves minced garlic

1 tsp salt

1 tsp black pepper

2 tbsp dried parsley flakes

Lumpia wrapper

Cheddar cheese (optional)

Procedure:



Mix all of the ingredients with the exception of the cheddar cheese.

Wrap the mixture using the lumpia wrapper and put one stick of the cheddar cheese in the middle of the mixture.

Seal the end using egg white.

Deep fry until golden brown.

Serve with some sweet and sour dip or ketchup.
